What happens when you leave out a birthday cake with moveable letters too early in the day

(For the record, the birthday boy was the vandal.)

Say Hello to Curtis Green

It’s our pleasure to introduce Curtis Green, a new Associate Creative Director. Curtis comes to us all the way from Kansas City where he worked on clients like Kashi and Southwest Airlines. He also had a brief circus act riding bicycles blindfolded and shooting cannons at flat screens playing live sports. But he doesn’t like to talk about that. He’s already making friends with some great restaurants, bars, campsites and abandoned buildings. But not poison ivy. Never poison ivy. As long as he doesn’t bring out the cannons again, we’re more than happy to have him. Welcome, Curtis.

Shelbey Stockton Joins Marlin

We’re happy to announce a new addition to the Marlin team. Shelbey Stockton, Senior Account Executive, brings us nine years of marketing experience in both B2C and B2B. Shelbey has a wonderful appreciation for all things outdoors, including gardening, fishing, camping, bottle-feeding calves and the ever-exciting NASCAR races. When she’s not outside she’s hanging out with her two sons, listening to Eric Church, dreaming of exotic scuba diving locations and being a breath of fresh air for the office. Happy to have you, Shelbey.

Meet Bill Cover

Marlin is happy to welcome Bill Cover as our brand new Account Executive. Bill comes to us with a background in project management from an ecommerce agency. He also comes to us with an inspiring desire to discover what’s new in the marketing world. Bill is our office renaissance man—enjoying everything from fishing at sunup, rock-climbing, and running to cooking, music and art. We like that about him. And his knot-tying abilities will probably come in handy at some point too. Welcome aboard, Bill.

Moving up at Marlin

We’re very pleased to announce that Nora Hiatt, former Design Intern, is now a full-fledged Designer at Marlin. She came to the network after graduating from Missouri State with degrees in Graphic Design and Spanish (Si, ella habla Español). Nora loves antiquing and finding treasures in other people’s “junk”. She’d love to go continental city hopping and dine on guinea pig and bull testicles. But while she’s fearless when it comes to food, she has a major phobia of being tickled. Happy you’ve joined us, Nora.

A New Fish in the Sea

It’s our pleasure to introduce Dionne Reese as our new Account Supervisor. Dionne’s foodservice experience has allowed her to brush shoulders with the likes of Bobby Flay and Paula Deen. Her strange knack for remembering useless information has yet to be tested. But we know she loves ornaments (a lot), eating marshmallow cream from the jar, watching Cars with her son, reading on her Nook and bringing in someone’s favorite treat just to brighten their day. Welcome to the team, Dionne.
